Terms of Use

These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using DailyHero. They are written as the main English version. Translations should keep the same meaning.

By using DailyHero, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who provides DailyHero

2. What DailyHero is

DailyHero is an iOS app for family task planning. It helps a parent or guardian create tasks, review completion, manage points, and set up rewards for children.

DailyHero can also be used for simple personal task planning.

DailyHero is not an emergency service, medical service, financial service, school system, childcare provider, or safety-critical tool.

3. Account owner and child use

The person who creates the main account is the account owner.

The account owner is responsible for:

• using the app lawfully;
• managing family profiles and child profiles;
• deciding what information is added to the app;
• giving children permission to use linked child profiles;
• keeping account access and devices under reasonable control.

Children may use a child profile only with permission from a parent or guardian. A child profile does not create a separate contract between the child and us.

If you add information about another person, including a child, you confirm that you have the right to add and use that information in DailyHero.

4. Accounts and access

Some features require sign-in and an active account.

You must not share access in a way that creates unauthorized use of the account or family workspace. If you think your account was accessed without permission, contact support.

You are responsible for activity that happens through the devices, sign-in methods, and family profiles that you control or reasonably should control.

5. Your right to use the app

You may use DailyHero for personal and family purposes, subject to these Terms.

You must not:

• copy, sell, rent, or commercially distribute the app;
• bypass access controls or security features;
• interfere with the app, backend, authentication, or infrastructure;
• use the app to harm others or violate their rights;
• use the app for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith activity.

Platform services, including the App Store and Apple platform features, may have their own terms.

6. Tasks, points, and rewards

Tasks, points, rewards, statuses, and activity history are part of the app’s family workflow.

In-app points and rewards:

• are not money;
• are not electronic money, a payment instrument, a bank account, or a financial product;
• cannot be exchanged for cash unless the app clearly says otherwise;
• may be corrected if needed to fix a technical error, duplicate action, misuse, approval reversal, or data inconsistency.

Rewards are created by users inside their family workflow. We do not promise that a child will complete a real-world task or that a parent will provide a real-world reward.

7. Service changes and availability

DailyHero is an evolving service. We may update, improve, limit, or remove features.

We may temporarily limit access for maintenance, security, diagnostics, updates, or technical reasons.

We try to keep the app reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Paid features or subscriptions are not part of the current version. If they are added later, additional terms or notices may apply.

8. Third-party services

DailyHero uses third-party services such as Apple platform services and cloud infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services where the issue is outside our reasonable control.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy and these Terms work together, but they cover different topics.

10. Suspension, deletion, and ending use

You may stop using DailyHero at any time.

We may restrict, suspend, or end access if reasonably necessary because of:

• a breach of these Terms;
• misuse, fraud, security risk, or attempts to bypass restrictions;
• legal requirements;
• a risk of harm to users, the service, or infrastructure.

If an account or profile is deleted, data may first enter a temporary recovery period before final removal from active systems. More detail is provided in the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual property

DailyHero, including the app, website, design, text, graphics, interface, software, and service logic, belongs to us or is used by us with permission.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of DailyHero to you. They only allow you to use the app as described here.

12. No warranties where allowed by law

To the extent allowed by law, DailyHero is provided in its current state and according to availability.

We do not promise that:

• the app will meet every expectation;
• every feature will always be available;
• the app will be free from bugs, delays, or technical limits;
• family tasks or rewards will lead to the real-world result a user expects.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot be removed under applicable consumer or privacy law.

13. Limits of responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for:

• private arrangements between family members;
• real-world tasks, promises, rewards, gifts, privileges, or consequences created by users;
• indirect or consequential losses;
• third-party services outside our reasonable control;
• temporary unavailability, delays, or errors caused by technical or platform reasons.

Nothing in these Terms limits responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

14. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, unless mandatory law gives you other protection.

If you are a consumer, these Terms do not take away mandatory rights you have under the law of your usual country of residence.

If there is a problem, please contact support@dailyhero.ink first so we can try to resolve it.

If it cannot be resolved, the dispute will be handled by a competent court or authority under applicable law.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms when the app, service, legal requirements, or business model changes.

If a change is important, we will try to notify users by reasonable means, such as updating this page or showing a notice in the app.

Continued use of DailyHero after updated Terms take effect means that you accept the updated Terms, where this is allowed by law.
